From the time I was a little boy, I always dreamed of growing up someday to help attorneys improve their law practice operations...
Okay, not really. But it's funny how a winding career path full of diverse experiences has brought me to what I truly believe is my life’s work.
I’m a fourth-generation lawyer who spent nearly a decade in software before joining the legal profession. My journey has taken me from 5:00 am weekend tech support shifts (yes, really), to driving technology innovation during the Agile revolution, to running my own boutique IP law practice, and eventually serving as head of legal project management for a national law firm.
Today, I coach legal teams of all kinds, helping them streamline their work, empower their teams, and build profitable, sustainable, and scalable practices — all while (mostly) respecting the important traditions of the legal profession.
I started the Agile Attorney Community because I’ve seen too many legal professionals overwhelmed by the demands of running a practice and let down by outdated management models. I knew there was a better way because I lived it. Agile methods transformed how I approached my own practice, and I've coached hundreds of other legal professionals to do the same. I built this community to help make sure everyone has access to the benefits of Agile thinking — with practical tools, shared experiments, and a supportive group of peers.
This isn’t just another legal resource site — it’s a community of innovators reshaping how law gets practiced. Through peer discussions, group and individual coaching, public trainings, and hands-on workshops, the Agile Attorney Community is the place for all legal professionals who want to build practices that run smoothly, profitably, and with purpose.
